International combined transport in
Europe is organized through organizations
of national companies for combined transport
wich are members of the Association
UIRR seated in Brussels.
This organization
of combined transport is based on the
agreement with all the railway administrations,
that their transport services in the
combined transport will be saled in
gross to the UIRR companies and they
sale it in particular to the endusers,
mostly to forwarders and shipping agents.
